Sin referencia a Dios, como decíamos en el artículo anterior (ver aquí), es imposible mantener el verdadero sentido moral y la fuerza obligante o imperativa. Eliminado Dios —que a todos obliga y que escudriña las conciencias y conoce toda intención libre y voluntaria— desparece el sentimiento de culpa o de responsabilidad, es decir, el de responder por nuestros actos y libres decisiones. La inmoralidad creciente es paralela a la irreligiosidad y desnaturalización del hombre. Esto supone un paulatino endurecimiento, la pérdida progresiva de sensibilidad, y consiguientemente el encanallamiento, el embrutecimiento y la deshumanización del alma humana.
La muerte sociológica de Dios comporta la muerte de la moral. La desaparición de Dios en nuestra sociedad occidental está provocando la desaparición de la fisionomía moral de la misma. Esto resulta de una evidencia palmaria que no necesita demostración. En la medida que va decayendo la fe en Occidente, en esa misma medida se está corrompiendo y encanallando la sociedad.
Y si esto es así, ¿qué cabe esperar? ¿A dónde se conduce una sociedad sin Dios, sin moral?… De esto tan importante nadie dice nada, ni se reflexiona, ni se toma conciencia, ni se toman medidas, como si no existiera tal realidad. Como tal asunto, no cotiza en bolsa, pues nada ni inmutarnos. Pero por obviarlo, la gravedad del problema no va a dejar de existir y de causar consecuencias desastrosas.
Y tristísimamente, si Dios no existe, entonces habrá que concluir que los malos tienen razón en hacer lo que hacen y los demás en ser sus pobres víctimas. Si Dios no existe, el mal tiene la última palabra. Y si esto es así, el mal de cada hombre, todo mal, está justificado, o aún más, no necesita ni justificarse. Es su sentir «natural», su medio y su fin. De modo que la lógica del malo es una lógica aplastante, dominante, la única verdadera y sensata, definitiva.
Una sociedad sin valores morales -y sin Dios que la respalde-, se hará insoportable. Lo veremos y padeceremos.
Como decían los clásicos, cuando los dioses mueren, el hombre no encuentra más que una cosa: su cuerpo… La droga, el sexo, la violencia, la avaricia… son los sustitutivos naturales de la desaparición de Dios.
La corrupción, la delincuencia, la inmoralidad, la perversión sexual, la desestructuración familiar, las infidelidades, los abortos, las enfermedades psíquicas, la soledad, el suicidio, etc., crecerán dramáticamente. Las leyes y los policías aumentarán como medida represiva para poner coto a tanto desmán; pero será la prueba palmaria de que el ser humano por sí mismo es insuficiente para mantenerse en su dignidad en pie, y al final, sobrevendrá el desastre.
Hay períodos en que Dios permite que todo se venga abajo, para que se vea bien que por sí mismo nada se tiene en pie. Al tiempo.
¡El mundo Occidental va a echar mucho de menos a Dios!
